For our October Purely Gluten-Free box, we added Good Journey and rule breaker gluten and dairy free cookies and we decided to turn it into something even more fun.
A gluten-free cookie ice cream sandwich.
Because sometimes the best recipes aren’t really recipes at all. They’re just really good ideas. 😂
🍪 What You’ll Need:
Good Journey cookie
Your favorite gluten-free ice cream
Halloween sprinkles
Optional: gluten-free chocolate or Halloween candy decorations
🎃 How to Make It:
1. Start with your cookie.
Take your Good Journey Cookie Sandwich and get ready to turn it into dessert.
2. Add the ice cream.
Place a scoop of your favorite ice cream between the cookies.
3. Add the Halloween magic. 👻
Roll the edges in Halloween sprinkles or add your favorite gluten-free Halloween toppings.
4. Freeze.
Place your finished cookie ice cream sandwiches in the freezer until firm.
5. Enjoy!
That’s it.
No complicated ingredients. No hours in the kitchen. Just a fun little Halloween treat that kids can help make, too.
