Cozy apple chai flavor + creamy overnight oats + a golden gluten-free crisp topping.
And the whole recipe can be made gluten-free and dairy-free.
Makes: 2 servings
🥣 Overnight Oats
1 packet Dozy Oats Overnight Oats
½ cup milk of choice (can be dairy free)
1 tbsp maple syrup, optional
¼ tsp cinnamon, optional
🍎 Apple Filling
½ cup Pure Spice apples, chopped into small pieces
1 tbsp water
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup, optional
🍪 Crisp Topping
2 tbsp Better Batter Cake Flour
2 tbsp gluten-free oats
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp butter, softened (dairy-free butter sub)
¼ tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Make the oats.
Mix the Dozy Oats Overnight Oats packet with the dairy-free milk, Apple Chai, and optional maple syrup and cinnamon. Divide between two jars or containers, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
2. Make the apple topping.
Add the chopped Pure Spice apples, water, and cinnamon to a small saucepan. Cook over low-medium heat for about 3–5 minutes, just until the apples soften slightly and become syrupy. Let cool.
3. Make the crisp.
In a small bowl, combine the Better Batter Cake Flour, gluten-free oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the butter or dairy-free butter sub and use your fingers or a fork to mix until crumbly.
Spread the mixture onto a small baking sheet or piece of parchment and bake at 350°F for about 8–10 minutes, until lightly golden. Let cool completely.
4. Assemble.
Top each serving of overnight oats with the apple mixture and a generous sprinkle of the crisp topping.
5. Enjoy! 🍎🥣
